Specialty Areas

Danny Miller is the speech-language pathologist at Peregrine Therapy.
Danny has specialty experience in these areas:

• Speech-language therapy conducted in Japanese. Danny lived in Japan for a few years, and Japanese is the language of his home, and his wife and children’s first language. Danny is an ASHA-approved bilingual service provider.

• Velopharyngeal mislearning and speech disorders related to cleft palate or other craniofacial disorders. While a student, Danny worked a clinical placement at Seattle Children’s Hospital Craniofacial Center. Since that time, he has continued to work with children in this population.

• Disorders impacting reading and writing skills, including decoding (sounding out words) and spelling.

• Danny has undergone specialty training: PROMPT training level 1 through the PROMPT Institute, and the More than Words training through the Hanen Centre.
