About Peregrine
Peregrine Therapy is owned and operated by Daniel Miller, MA, MS, CCC-SLP. The office was opened in October 2022. Danny is a speech-language pathologist and the only therapist at Peregrine Therapy.
Danny has been a practicing speech-language pathologist since 2013 and is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. In his previous employment, he served as clinical director of pediatric therapy for a clinic which included speech, occupational, and physical therapists. Danny has accumulated years of experience working with children who have delays impacting articulation / phonological skills, language skills, fluency, and social communication skills. Danny has developed specialty skillsets in the areas of velopharyngeal mislearning (typically related to a history of cleft palate) and stuttering. He also provides therapy for reading (decoding and comprehension) and writing (spelling and composition / organization), as well as remediation of a tongue thrust swallow pattern.
Danny lives in Redmond, Washington with his family of four.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, he has lived in many other places as well, including Indiana, Florida, Hawaii, Vancouver in Canada, and Kagoshima in Japan.
Danny speaks Japanese and provides speech-language therapy services in English and Japanese.
Danny enjoys spending time outside with his children, jogging and hiking, and playing tabletop card and board games.
